Administrative service of the activities included in the strategy for sustainable development of the Technical University of Sofia
For the implementation of the activities related to the achievement of the sustainable development plan, Technical University of Sofia has a separate department for sustainable development, which includes a Green Office, Disability Office и Student Sustainability Office
The Department of Sustainability summarizes and structures measurable sustainability indicators by sectors: 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals, electrical energy, thermal energy, transport, water resources, and waste.
Based on the obtained results, a report is drawn up annually, in which the progress in the implementation of the activities and the achievement of the set goals are tracked.
When analyzing the data, the department prepares an opinion on the implementation of the indicators and the need to introduce new measures, which is submitted to the management of the Technical University of Sofia.
One of the main commitments of the Department of Sustainability is related to the certification of the Technical University of Sofia according to the ISO 14001 standard for environmental management systems and its subsequent implementation and maintenance in the activities carried out by the university falling within its scope.
The working and reporting documentation of the department is prepared according to internal rules.

Provides support and services to students with disabilities by ensuring they have equal access to academic programs and activities on campus.
Promotes environmentally responsible practices on campus by raising awareness and encouraging environmentally responsible behavior.
